About the Role
Reliable Landscaping provides the highest quality landscape design, construction and maintenance services to clients in Greater Gardner and the surrounding communities. Because we are growing, we are looking for a motivated and passionate Lawn Maintenance Technician to become part or our team.
Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day tasks of lawn and landscape maintenance crew including mowing and string trimming, power raking, spring and fall cleanups, aerating, etc.
Maintain a positive and professional appearance and attitude.
Ability to adapt and perform other lawn care technician duties as needed
Take direction from crew foreman and perform assigned tasks.
Requirements
Reliable Landscaping requires for this position a motivated individual to join our lawn care maintenance division. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record to operate company vehicles. Should have good knowledge of lawn care equipment, a desire to learn and willing to work in a TEAM environment. Must be able to complete tasks expressed in the job description and be willing to participate in other
activities as deemed necessary by Reliable
Job Requirements:
Prior lawn care experience preferred but not required
Ability to lift 80 pounds
Ability to communicate with the crew foreman in a professional courteous manner
Ability to take constructive criticism
General knowledge of gardening tools and small engine equipment
Team Player
Self-starter
Willingness to work long hours to get the job done on time
Other:
Average 45+ hours/week. Typically from 7:00 AM till 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays may be required to accommodate clients’ needs and work around weather conditions
Requirements for hire:
• Class D License –Regular (Auto, Light Truck, Moped)
Compensation:
• $17 and up based on experience
•Paid overtime over 40 hours at one and one half regular pay rate
